I'm crying, silently.
The unknown, a fear that shreds
like I am losing blood, till weakened
my shaking hand struggles
to bring a cup to lip.
This one who never prays, begs
whatever, whoever rules our destiny
"Please don't take him from me."

Oh!

This hurts to read. If positive thoughts (and prayers) can do anything, all will be well. Much love.

Glad you posted it!

It's a prayer and so simply but fluently stated that it has great impact on me as a reader.
