I am a man, who dreams of true love
Waiting for a woman sent from the heavens above
I've fallen for many women, in an effort to feel whole
But, it always ends, with my heart broken and cold
This is a subject, I often write of
I am a man, who dreams of true love
Many women catch my eye
But, its around the ones i truly want, I become shy
Often, I have settled for less
When it comes to matters of the heart, I must profess
I am a man, who dreams of true love
And the joy it consists of
In this life of mine, I've made many mistakes
But, now I'll live without regret, no matter what it takes
I am a man, who dreams of true love
Because for far too long, its what I've been deprived of
