Drip...drip...drip... I know he did it on purpose!

Drip...drip...drip... I can feel my skin crawling, as my head echoes the sound.

Drip...drip...drip... Unh! I yank my hands back, the short 3 inches until the metal sears my wrists.

Drip...drip...drip... I drive the bridge of my nose into the now salty leather, as far as the foam underneath is willing to compress.

Drip...drip...drip... I clench my eyes shut, pushing harder into the inflexible padded board, driving until my eyeballs begin to compress and I can see dancing points of light in the darkness.

Drip...drip...drip... It echoes in my mind.

Drip...drip...drip... How long has it been? It must be at least two hours.

Drip...drip...drip... Damn him! Unnngh! A long steady pull, causing the pain to stab around my wrists, swelling and throbbing.

Drip...drip...drip... My fingernails dig into my palms, but there isn't enough pain to drown out the sound of each droplet splashing against the porcelain of the sink. It was so quiet when it started.

Drip...drip...drip...

Drip...drip...drip...

Drip...drip...drip...

Drip...drip...drip... Silence, but for that damned leak.

Drip...drip...drip... Had he actually left? No, he wouldn't do that, but why didn't he come back?

Drip...drip...drip... I had ceased making sounds now for the last half hour. I had stopped struggling, and let my body go.

Drip...drip...drip... I could feel my heartbeat in the throbbing of my veins. Then the feeling grew louder, echoing throughout my body. The frustration, like the panic before it, now fled.

Drip...drip...drip...

Drip...drip...drip... As my heartbeat kept time with the faucet, I floated up.

Drip...drip...drip... Entranced, I floated there. How much longer? I don't know. I don't care. I was free, truly set free.

Drip...drip...drip...

Drip...drip...drip...

Drip...drip...drip...

Drip...drip...drip... He's stroking my hair now. All is as it should be, this is where I belong. He caresses me with such tenderness, my heart is near to breaking. I can hear him turn off the faucet.

Drip...

drip...

drip...

The water stops, and all I feel are his hands upon me. Then a kiss, such a sweet and tender kiss. Click...click...the handcuffs swing free, clanging gently as they come to a rest. I feel his kisses on my neck, my back, his weight pressed gently against mine, I feel his hardness against my ass. I feel embraced as I come to, a wide and dreamy smile across my face.

...Thank you...
