Click hereMount Tam is a beautiful woman.
Sodden cloak shrugged, pooled and still
isolates islands adrift in the mist
accentuates curves that thrill.
Luminescent fish-scale clouds
brightly paint the sky
sunlight's warmth, tangible hope
pulse electric blue on white.
Sweeps of birds flash billowing
like sheets hung out in spring.
Syncopated dance whips wild
waves black then silvered wings.
Miles of mud flats roll away
flecked white with herons' grace,
splashed golden here and there with sun
to reach San Pablo Bay.
In the east, Diablo rises
gazing west each day,
as lovely Tamalpais
lets her fog just slip away.
It needs a juicy pause in Mill Valley...among the redwoods.
A sweet dinner in the arcade by the flick...
Then a calming oozy phuck in the quiet near the library?
Yes, please!
beautiful choice of words and once again, you prove how adept you are at erotic poetry. Those who aspire to write poetry, ( myself included) should take notice of how it is REALLY done! As Tess said, I too am glad to be reading your work again, It has been too long :)
...except it is great to see your work once more SL and it's no surprise that it's such a lovely piece.
gm was correct in recommending this one some nice sonics and clever images
I recommended your poem in the "New Poem Recommendations" thread of "Poetry Feedback and Discussion."
