Lying beside you
my body is a beach
your hand a tide
washing over me
in wave after ceaseless wave

the arc of my lips
succumbs to your kisses
yielding its shape
like a shoreline
assailed by an angry sea

surrendering myself
as land to a flood
I am lost in your ocean
drowned by the weight
of this never ebbing love

I really loved the metaphor and the way you played it to its natural conclusion. It's a nice poem.
