When I walk the
Other way
Will you cry for me?
Will the tears fall
Like mine did for you?

The years passed by
And the love that died
Has faded from my memory
Like dry dusty roses.

Fragrance lingering
In the still air
Musty, old, reminds me
Of what we once were
To each other

You could not accept
The love I gave
Nor the roses that dried in
a vase in an empty room
