Just give me a hambone, and an old tator,
I think that's a meal fit for a King.
And let me slap my lips around that hambone,
And that old tator will make me sing!

And, if you've never been real poor, like I've been,
You just don't know, where I'm comin' from.
But just give me a hambone, and a tator,
I'll find that a fine meal for, an old bum!!
