Elaborate Decolletage

byNick Urfe©

I can see covering a rock
With fine silk
To play that it's a ruby,

Or putting cashmere on
An ugly man
So he at least feels good,

I rejoice to see the curtain
When the dreadful
Play is done,

Some things are so well covered up.

But why square bust lines
Frilled with lace
Above impenetrable corsets
Fastened in place?

Of all the things
Fabric teases
Breasts are the ones
That least need it.

Elaborate decolletage
is a 14 karat prison
to set them free
would be
A blessed vision.
