I think of you late sometimes
looking up at the stars.

Your blink and fade waves of light
galaxies barren of sound
make me feel alone.

I know you as stars fall
from heaven anxious to reach me
to deliver a simple message-

Not alone

Countless falling couriers,
their whispers are sparks of fire
zinging through icy atmosphere

and towers of clouds do nothing
to lessen impending fall.

Ah yes!

Right on form as usual. Falling stars bringing a message we all need, not to be alone. Lovely, NJ.

This is beautiful

and certainly speaks to me. I often go out at night to sit and talk to those mute stars myself. The last two lines especially are gorgeous. The title could be better but probably not if I were choosing it. Well done, sis! xo
