The embers lay scattered
Like sleeping hearts.

We chuckle together
Hands locked in stride
Whispering secrets about the sun’s lovers,
Relishing in her way
Before the winter years loom.
I’m tethered by a smile
That would possess an endless summer’s day,
For at this moment
Winter I know not yet.

The signs we do not heed,
You take me in.
Into a gentler place, where
In the narrow divides we hide,
Yet naïve, our feet reveal the truth.

You take off my clothes.
I peel away the binds
To free your skin
And embrace to meld our warmth,
Our excitement confessed with a kiss.

The steam ignites the passion,
Our skin blistered with jewels
As we touch our hallowed bodies
Wet fingers caressing tools.

Your tongue, a creature of pleasure
Lured out from its lair to kiss.
In that instant
When our tongues unite
Your hand firmly grips…

These are the flames I miss, where
Our embers lay scattered
Like sleeping hearts.

Thanks anon. I'm glad my sentiments made you sentimental.

Deep!

I'm really enjoying your sentiments Case28. I feel there's a lot of passion behind your words. It takes me back to many years ago, when I felt something just like this. Sweet days! Your one lucky SOB!
