In a dark room of her soul
She contemplates ending it all
No more energy to fight the pain
Nothing else left for her to gain.
Her happiness ended long ago
Now her happy smiles are just for show.
She lives her life day by day
Just wanting the hurt and pain to go away!
No where to go, no place to turn
Her soul is empty and feeling BURNS
People ask about this change
All she wants is to end the pain...
Holding on just one more day seems to hard to do
She is empty inside and tired of having the blues.
Unending tears slowly fall from her eyes
Wanting and wishing for her turn to die....
She holds the bottle still completely filled
Then opens her mouth and swallows the pills.
Emptiness and loneliness will be no more,
As the empty bottle falls to the floor

Well-Written

This reminds me of poems an old friend of mine used to write...I don't really know how to comment, except to say *hug*

Ohh!

Sadness! I know this pain. You have written a wonderful piece that flowed very nicely that was greatly detailed.

A suggestion for this line:

Emptiness and loneliness will be no more,

As the empty bottle falls to the floor

Perhaps:

Emptiness and loneliness will be no more,

As the empty bottle falls down to the floor.

(this is the only part where I felt it needed a extra syllable word). MY word is just a suggestion. Prehaps you can think of another to fit this better.

Never to hurt and only to help.

Sincerely, Dana
