Shed no tear for me, My Love,
For I do not do so
I know you and your life, My Love,
The gift you did bestow.
To hold you as my friend, My Love,
Was my greatest prize
I shed no tear for you, My Love,
We shared each other’s lives.
Do not cry for us, My Love,
One day we’ll see the dream
The beauty of it all, My Love,
In heaven’s colour green.
