Her hair -
interwoven patterns
of softest moonglow
and warm sunlight,
mellow auburn traces
glistening with life.

Her eyes -
the gentlest I'd ever known,
crystalline hue
with opaline flecks
of gold scattered through.
Always able to see beyond
to all that is within.

Her skin -
soft, silken, living satin,
the creamiest of ivories
with a touch of blushing peach.

Her voice -
melodious toned symphonies
beyond mere mortal reach.

When still,
she stands proud...
pride without prejudice -
regal but at home
with any that surround her.
Fully comfortable -
beyond the touch
of trivializing words,
patterns, or even thought.

When moving...
each movement couples
pure heaven's grace
with a feline's fluid form.
Supple,
sweet,
smooth...
timeless.

Her touch...
changed me...
claimed me...
freed me...
made me.

Her passing...
chained me -
left me bound -
helpless and ever lost.
Now I remain...
and know -
what once was
the essence...
of a woman.
