Every poem
has a title
or goes untitled
like an unnamed cat
living outside
the human realm

Every poem
carries tone
or not
a toneless teapot
tilted to the left
on a crooked eye
of a faded green oven

Every poem is buried
but a few that live
in tattered journals
or tidy texts
to be autopsied
or recited by
students who wait
for the fated bell

Every poem is loved and hated
Every poem is birthed
but not all out of pain
or a sense of urgency
or meaning
or reason
some are born
Because we need a E
to begin the title
