As my husband snores and my children slumber, this was a nice way to begin to warm up for the day ahead.... I am almost tempted to stop my morning stroll through the new poems with such a warm feeling....
better on a mediocre day than many can on a "best" day. Even in what I'd consider a slightly weaker poem for him, he creates an strong image with metaphor and, as always, brings together nature and personification really effectively.
