sadness...
Windows to one's soul.
They sparkle with tears of joy,
darken with sorrow.
The get sleepy,
grow weepy.
Eyes speak volumns,
without words.
Piercing as an arrow,
sharp as a knife,
dull with boredom..
they twinkle with mischief,
lower in guilt,
look away in shyness.
Eyes question

blue, green, hazel, lavendar,
brown or even black...
Eyes light the face
stare into space,
