Eyes

seek each other
through a mist

one throat wolf howls,
and then they are gone

incomplete,
stranded in the bright red

darkness.

Wolves?

Those wise eyes in the wild. This poem manages atmosphere beyond its size and sets the mind off on trails of its own, something I love in a poem.
