The past slips away.
Inevitably, necessarily.
No choice; watch it go.
Watch it fade away.
Whatever it was is gone.
A fleeting dream.
Dreamed alone, perhaps?
I will sleep for a while.
My passion will wane.
But I will wake and rise again.
I will learn the way.

I like this.

I like this. There is flow and a nice progression. I particularly liked the ‘inevitably, necessarily’ and the final ‘I will learn the way’. I have absolutely no idea what the way is that will be learnt but it makes such a great triumphal ending.

I look forward to seeing more from you.

Very stylish user name by the way.
