Flying through the clouds,
I feel empty or do I feel light?
I glance around,
To check where you are,
My wings stop momentarily,
As I spot you falling,
Through the clouds,
Lower and lower,
Like a bird caught in a storm,
You lose control,
And spiral even further away,
Panicking I glance around,
Screaming for help,
My cries wake me,
My eyes flutter open,
I roll over and I see you,
Falling through the clouds?
No, your still here right beside me,
My nightmares come and go,
Showing me what I fear most,
But then when I wake,
Your still here reminding me,
That my nightmares aren’t real,
And when I wake you’ll still be,
Right beside me where you were,
When I closed my eyes,
Closing my eyes I drift back to my dreams,
This time I see you ahead,
And I’m falling.
