I yearn for my distant lover,
A woman I have neither met nor heard,
Whose scent I do not know,
Whose hair I have not touched,
Whose breasts I have not kissed.
A foreign girl in a foreign land
Thousands of miles away
And many time zones far apart.
Yet the words are magnets,
The pictures are powerful,
The connection surges electric.
I know her with a certainty,
An intimacy intense,
That erases all traces of doubt.
Time is an ocean
But it ends at the shore,
And I know in my heart
That the day will soon come
When love will surround us
As we meld in a garden of joy.

Koba

this kind of goes exactly where I expect it to go, and doesn't break a lot of ground on the way. You are treading on a well worn path. Lightly.

I did not vote.
