My eyes, my tongue, my hands
Tip-toeing across your body
Exploring and appreciating
Your indigo ridges as you sleep?
Bestowing silent honor
Stroking your truly magnificent wrists
Loving each hair that grows there
Ingraining tone and shape of each thigh and calf in my mind
Pausing here and there
To appreciate the view
Inhaling your scent, still heady with raw, dried juices
Recapturing the taste of you
With feather-light tonguings
Memorizing the velvet tip of your powerful curve
Brushing my eyelids against your sex
Pressing my lips to the semi-hardness of you
In your most vulnerable state
That you trust me to lie there speaks volumes!
It is ok if you do not feel me
I feel enough for both of us.
I am content to wait
Until your feelings wake
To clasp hands with your voice
You will tell me, one day,
In another life
That you feel me.

Author's Comments on "Feel Me"
This is the Christmas gift everyone should have, at least once. The absolute appreciation of another soul. He has mine.
imagery and atmosphere. Quite a touching poem and I just love the image in the first stanza:
'My eyes, my tongue, my hands
Tip-toeing across your body
Exploring and appreciating
Your indigo ridges as you sleep'
Memorable, mentioned in today's new poem reviews
