At Hennepin and central
she stands lookin worried
glancing at her watch
adjusting her purse
there's no T-sign at her corner
so I know it's not a bus
she's waitin on...but
there is a bar at which
she keeps glancin...I
know her impatience is
tied to this
how long she's been standin
I don't know but looking
in her face...she'd
stand eternity still
