together on the bench
passing the day
he's feeding squirrels
while she sits knitting
so long together each
looks like the other
if it wasn't for the
occasional touch of hand
or the love in their
old eyes one would
think them brother n sister
from a brown paper bag
they share a sandwich...
after a spell he stands gives
her his hand
she rises also...Together
they go from the park
just passing the day.
