through the mall they wander
mesmerized by neon
hypnotized by desire
Mall of America it's called
a glowing testament to
capitalism, to which folks flock
everything for sale priced for profit
four levels n more
filled with shit no one needs
on the other side of town
a society reject lays under
a bridge...to mentally ill
to work made homeless
during the "Reagan Administration"
when state hospitals were
closed due to federal funding
when profit and greed
became a disease of
my country...under
a bridge this homeless
takes his last breath
while miles away thousands
praise the Mall God
praise money
