old red brick bars
neon signs
drunks wet with their
own urine laying on
pavement which millions
of feet have tread
a used up whore high
on crack walks over
him as if he were
not there
adult bookstores movie theaters
rental and pawn shops line
the street
squad cars pass on by
and so the earth turns
another day
in a cesspool called earth
