7th Chorus

blue collar in pickups
utilities and four by fours
white collar in camrys
maximas and infinities
working poor at bus stops
carpooling in jalopies
into a misty morning
yawning holding styrofoam
cups, paper bags with
sandwich for lunch
just spokes in a wheel
each and everyone
another day another bill
all striving to get ahead
most just to keep up
if there are heroes
in this day and age
to me its these
nameless drivin faces
