I'm sorry I made you shout
I don't mean to pout
I just want to figure "us" out

There is so much confusion in my head
I don't know if you want to be in my bed
There is so much that still needs to be said

I don't mean to make you worry
But in this worlds fury
My life is in a great hurry

So my decisions may not be right
And the truth may be out of my sight
I just have to find some light

Please, at me don't shout
Then I'd really begin to pout
I just want to figure "us" out

I know I am not the best
But I believe I can pass your test
Then my head could finally rest

I would just like you to love me
So my heart and soul can go free
That would feel so heavenly

Then maybe I could make the right choice
Somewhere in me find my own voice
Then together "our" hearts could rejoice

Then happily "we" could shout
And no reason would "our" hearts have to pout
Cause finally I've figured "us" out
