It was the fifth of May 1976
when I discovered my love.
I was looking for a quick fix
a place for my wick to shove.

I told her I had free time.
She knew what was in store
for I was in my prime
and looking to score.

We kissed in the living room.
Clothes were dropped to the floor.
On the bed she lay in full bloom.
Slowly I slide into her core.

I didn't know our union
would be a lasting combination.

nice sentiments

"wick to shove." works but is wick appropriate, one thinks of a wick, as on a candle as thin and flexible without strength, at least until it is lit, perhaps a bit crude, but "prick to shove"would also work
