Succulent petals of palest pink
Tinged with creamy nectar
Taste my flavour
Of ambrosia, honey sweet
Watch me flower
Under your touch
Such
Exquisite blossoming
Pink blooms
To darkest maroon
In a blinding moment
Of pleasure
The flower fades
For another day
Until she’s coaxed
To flourish again

Oh...

what a beautiful picture you painted... so yummy. This would have fitted in extremely well in "The Vagina Monlogues". For the men out there...the play is celebrated as the bible for a new generation of women, The Vagina Monologues has been performed in cities all across America and at hundreds of college campuses. (One woman play) It's quite amazing as it has helped women to appreciate and talk about their vaginas in a whole new way.

Pretty in pink

Soft and delicate, pretty imagery with a hint of cinnamon lurking underneath. Mentioned in today's new poem reviews.

Every good gardener knows how to keep this particular flower blossoming.
