Where are the shadows?
I can feel their chill
On the back of my neck
But I cannot see them anymore
Through this glowing haze,
This omnipresent soft white light,
This sinister halo.

I feel this poem and readers will too.

Being a long time suffer of depression myself, this poem puts it in a perspective that others can easily understand. Sometimes I wonder if it's better to feel everything or nothing at all. Great sensory poem, chilling.

To prozac or not to prozac, that is the question! Is the treatment worse than the disease? Is the halo really better than the shadows? Sometimes no, sometimes yes. It depends. And you bring out the dilemna in powerful poetic terms. A wonderful piece of poetry!
