winter's shroud
an overcast sky
of gray clouds

a legion flock flying south,
'squawking'
a flying ribbon

A waving, weaving flickering strand
in V-shape flapping row
a ribbon fly?
flying across the sky!

A ribbon
tossed into the breeze
sailing off
on a south wind's eve
flickering flapping overlapping
a flying ribbon's ascend!

Distant 'honks' thin
string and sky blend
flying ribbon
