A simple request
for a deed to be done.
Is it like the surface
of a mountain lake?
Still and calm,
reflecting the beauty around it
within softly shimmering images
above deep depths of swirling currents
dark, cold hidden pools
emptying the lake into raging torrents
tumbling down rock filled rapids?
Is this the journey
a request invites me to?
I have been on such a voyage once,
when I shared a dream
that could not be.
Would I swim these waters again?
I can only, follow my heart..
