For My Mom
Weep not, for her body feels no pain.
Weep not for always in your heart she will remain.
Weep not for Her.

But if you must weep, weep for the injustice in the world.
Weep for those who suffer daily in their
struggles and their darkness
Weep for them, Not Her.

Remember all the good times, all the laughter, love and peace.
Remember her with joy, and let your sorrow slip away.
Remember your fondest memory, not the way you feel today.

Then, tomorrow, when a new day dawns,
And your eyes well up with unshed tears,
Weep not for her, for she has not left you.

She is the sound that whispers in your ear,
And that feeling deep within your heart,
that you shall always hold so dear.
Remember Her.
