Glistening eyes, soul overflowing with liquid release
Tremulous jaw betraying the lie, the pretense
Brave face, thin veneer, haunted by parting
     Partition
     Parturition
     Departure
Entwined, entangled, ensnared,
Impossible individuation, separation, tearing the bonds
Once again, into the breach, into the void, into the blue
We hide our pain from one another, thief lurking
Behind a pane of glass, for the record, for the moment
     For what it’s worth
One soul, swaddled in ecstasy,
Union shattered, hammer of distance driving miles, nails
In the coffin wherein lies the one we become
Until the next time, until next we meet, until the dawn
Rising bloody and sweet and again I see
Glistening eyes, soul overflowing with liquid release
