I've tried to let go
It's so hard to do
When I come to Lit each day
And so do you

I can't believe the distance between us
I wish we could make amends
Because there once was a time we were the best of friends

I am sorry I called you a drama queen
Even if I think it is partially true
But you called me a prom queen
I just figured I owed you

I made my share of mistakes
Where you are concerned
Trying to put that all behind me now
As lessons learned

Do you think we can ever forgive each other
And try and be friends
Even if it means starting all over again...
