The full moon hangs high in the sky
Caressing my pale white cheek
Something doesn't feel quite right
But I can't find words to speak

Silence fills the heavy air
Along with the night's perfume
The dark covers my troubled stare
But I feel the dawn is coming soon

Everything is so much brighter in the day
Sunshine pouring down
Thoughts won't just be washed away
Even when they don't make a sound
