the oak that leans into the wind
then shakes it silver mane
to dapple my face with kisses

Karl who emerges through the air abominable
beard frozen and puffing white smoke
like a Godzilla in Aspen to carry me home

and there is the night when the moon threatens shadows
that reach across the frost to curl fists through my window
in a whispered dare to dream of them

they speak low breathed into my ear
adjust white bandages to show blue skin
lick the tips of my fingers

You start off rather rough in this one, I still gave you a 5 though. Your third and fourth stanza have some marvelous comparisons. The first and second need some attention.So far, I have really enjoyed reading your work. :)
