A full spring moon tonight, and like a fool, a lunatic,
I search for the path that will lead me straight to you.
Unexpectedly gorgeous was this first real day of spring,
A new season, filled with fresh hope and a new love with you.
The fragrant hyacinths blooming and the tulips and daffodils
Their lush scent carried on the verdant air set me to dreaming.
I pause looking up at the moon and stars so bright and twinkling;
The moon as bright as my love for you, its blue and gray shadows
In contrast like the loneliness when we're apart; a rare celestial array
Of aligning planets lights a heavenly stairway to the moon;
The blanket of stars becomes a comforting background;
I wonder how you are feeling at this very moment
And patiently wait for you to come to me tenderly.
And when finished counting stars I'll fall into bed
And dream about you, your body naked, close to mine,
Our arms around each other tightly, our legs intertwined,
Our breath washing each other's cheek, and yes,
My kisses touching every part of you they can reach.
How I long for a lingering lasting taste of you tonight,
Your soft, moist lips and your smooth, supple body!
How I wish you could feel my heart beat so strongly
With the fresh and deep feelings I hold for you!
How I yearn to tell you of this intense desire burning inside me!
How I want to run away tonight, just the two of us, and fall in love,
With only this full spring moon and the stars to follow!
