From where did you come?
Are you real?
Do you exist or is this but a dream?
Is my sorrow so great that I imagined you?
Who are you?
What are you?
Am I but a shadow of you,
Or are you the same of me?
Do we reflect each other,
As a mirror to an image?
Perhaps you are but a whisper
Of my heart sounds;
An echo of my soul’s whimper
Bouncing off my inner walls?
I hear you calling
Feel you close
But I fear you are nothing
More than my past
Haunting me
“Come hither, sweet thing…”
Croons the ghost.
