Ghost by Jamie Lynn

Fake a smile even Force myself to laugh
When inside my heart is breaking
Walk right by you, My head held high.
I'll be DAMNED if I let you see me cry!!

Pretend not to see you because
You've become a ghost
From the not so distant past

Open your mouth to speak
But no sound comes out.
Time for talking has long since past.
You had your chance to talk it out.
Too many times said you'd call and didn't.
Now realized if you really cared or wanted to talk,
You would have done it the first time promised.

 So Good Bye my Ghost
From the not so distant past
You will fade as time goes on
Becoming just a fond memory of what could have been.
