All that death
All that destruction
How could there by any doubt
Not that nice a place to vist to begin with
Now for sure would't wanna live there
The place and the people are cursed
Every last man, woman and child
Why he don't like 'em
Why the savior has 'em on his hit list
Who can really say
Who can guess
Certainly none of the experts would dare
To step a true opinion forward
Seems only this lady poet really has the guts to say
Sometimes things happen for a reason
The bad don't always get away with what they do
And yes sadly enough
That means sometimes even the good have to get screwed
It's all just part of this thing he made called life
Natural fact
Some of 'em might have deserved the horror that came
Hate me if you will
Threaten and leave hateful, nasty comments
I'll take whatever comes
Proudly
Knowing at least that I was't a coward
Knowing at least this much for sure
I had the balls to tell the truth
Which is more than I can say for most of you people in this screwed up world of ours
2010 Ramona Thompson
This must be written by a conservative. Blame the victim for the crime. they must be at fault. they are poor because they are stupid; because they are black; because they have no initiative; because they made a pact with the devil --- yeah, that's it.
wow-- the extent of heartless cruelty that exists in this world under the name of Christianity is truly astounding.
I'm sorry to be so negative, but do you really believe that every tragedy happens because god doesn't like someone? What about little children with cancer? I can't disagree more strongly with your world view on this point.
To say of a people who have lost hundreds of thousands in a natural disaster that they must have deserved it seems utterly heartless. I had to speak up on this.
