Winter
Across your white plains
I lay a trail of kisses,
Like footprints in snow.

Spring
At our wakening
My lips retrace their journey
And thaw our chilled hearts.

Summer
Ebbing, flowing tides
Reclaim and then surrender
Your smooth, beach-brown limbs.

Autumn
A hundred kisses
Brush your face: each falling leaf
A lover's promise.

To my love

Measured quality

Continues unabated

With her tight writing.

mellowing love through the seasons

wow you write so well. it is as if the love of your partner inspires such beautiful poems. like water for dark chocolate there is a passion that spreads as the words sink under the surface of the mind then mellow through the seasons
