moonsoaked mulberries
gathered in purple crow night
feed mockingbird streams

seed returns to sea
spiraling within life’s thirst
aquatic womb reaps

sheets of rain falling
liquid sunshine overflows
in river swells of blue

water fowl plunder
trails of aquatic ribbons
and cold blooded prey

water beasts afloat
dead from flood’s raging river
nature equilized

roots reawaken
as life give up the spirit
form is forever

rain drenches serenity
twilight Possesses river
we ingest its beauty

still water reflects
its oaken evanescence
roots of a sapling

a banana leaf
unfurls
as currents
eye sees

I thouroughly enjoyed this set of haiku poetry, excellent flow from one to the next and the whole I got from the many smaller parts. This was my fav the first one and this one.

Agreed ~ don't need haiku in the title

To appreciate these poetic snippets.

great stuff....

I, too would drop the Haiku from the title, although the sentiments expressed here are often found in haiku.

smooth and vivid

I like it, don't know about the title. I'd drop the

haiku. Good flow like a river should have, St. John's?
