My heart breaks a little more
Each time I hear a knock at the door
You walked out on me
And no one else can see

How much pain I feel inside
I wear a fake smile
And I must confide
I will be faking it for a while

So until I can move on
I will be faking it all day long
Some day soon I will be strong
Hopefully soon the pain will be gone
