Hearts

Hearts beat together

Be it one two or three

One heart breaks away

Leaving the others to take its place

One needing more than one heart

To beat a steady rhythm

One unable to exist with more than just one beat

Yet in unison so it seems

Hearts beat together

One needing more

One needing less

One caught in between

How do they return to the sychronicity?

Keep moving forward beating

Harder, faster, slower,

One ebbs

One flows

One dies

One never returns

The rhythm is lost

But which heart loses the most
