Heaven’s Gate
Written by: The Sweeper

In the heavens above,
There is a woman that I still love.

She lived her life on a thin line,
But she was taken before her time,
I didn’t know that she wasn’t fine.

An angel took her by her hand
And pointed towards Heaven’s Gate.
There was no use in denying it,
She had to accept her fate.

She knows that in my heart, she, I will always keep
But I know she looks down and watches me weep.

But I know…She walks out of Heaven’s Gate
And watches over me and my fate.

For She will never let me make the same mistake.
She doesn’t want to see me arriving early at Heaven’s Gate.
