In the night you came to me
In that time our worlds became one
Deep in the night you touched me
My body, my soul, my heart, my very
Being
There I lay unable to escape even if
I'd wanted to.
Your eyes looked at me in my most
Vulnerable state stripped of all barriers
Stripped of false vanity, false pride
True beauty straight from within
Yes, even I saw me.

In the night you came to me
deep in the night you made me part of you
With a simple kiss and a simple touch
My being shook and moved, as your
Touch seared my skin and you left your
Mark branded so deep such that no other
Would ever reach.

By day I seek you as a desert seeks water
All I find are the memories etched so deeply
Ow my heart how I seek you
Yet never find you,
Ow my heart it is only at night, deep
In the night as I lay sleeping that you,
Come to me.
