His princess unmasked, unclothed
uncertain about the night
offering a white rose of submission
in a trembling hand

He accepts the rose
and places a collar around her neck
a blindfold over her eyes
and a kiss upon her lips

They go forward into the dark night
which is now a blur
of moans, sighs, whines, and whimpers
forever etched into her mind

the trail of life separated them
but it could not sever the bond
or keep them both from counting
the days until they meet again
