Hold me Gently

Run your fingers through my hair,
I love it when you stare,
Look into my eyes through yours;
I want to feel your touch some more.

Softly brush your lips on mine:
Your touch is gentle and so fine--
I feel the tenderness here;
Now...please just hold me near.

As your arms embrace my heart,
And I feel a quickened pulse start,
The warmth of your soul surrounds me:
My love, keep holding me gently.

In remembrance of
The warmth and love,
My heart beat quickens
And the seduction thickens.
Your eyes see more
Of my soul than before,
And the feel of your hand
Makes my body demand
More of that touch
Brushing my skin, so much.

An unbelievable insistence
Of such a wonderful subsistence--
Our feelings do foregather,
As much as our souls are mates together.

You set an undeniable claim
On my soul, and on my name...
We did not meet coincidentally,
But all the same, dear, hold me gently.
