It’s time for me to forget the past,
To forget the love that didn’t last,
The memories finally fade from my mind,
To the heartache I shall now become blind,
I shall never again live in fear,
Block out the truth; shed no more tears,
I shall overcome and live again,
Think of the future and forget the pain,
I shall no longer turn away and run,
I know that I can and will overcome,
I’m stronger now than ever before,
All of my troubles I banish out of the door,
I know now that I can love again,
I can see the sunshine after the rain,
I live in hope and believe that one-day,
True love will eventually come my way,
